Let me introduce ourselves…

About P&S

The idea of ‘Poke & Stroke’ was born during one of thousands of walks around the same block with our newborn during the pandemic. We wanted to move to a place near the ocean and with that, create a new workspace near home that inspired, motivated and was an escape for the crazy unsettling world we currently were experiencing.

At the time, INK BARBER was still operating in Langley, BC but once we moved to White Rock, we looked for a space that could host Chaylene, Shannon, Lana and Sarah… and potentially more like-minded artists.

We found a gorgeous space with good bones and Shannon got to work. We found an old Float House, I won’t go into detail about what he had to do… ask him when you come in ;)

The hard work begins

We’re not sure why we take on such big things all the time but we do. Shannon deserves so much credit for everything he does because he literally makes a pinterest pipedream into reality - countless times.
We also like to take on these huge projects when we have babies for some reason, just for added difficulty.

The space is transformed into a dreamy vaporwave paradise that inspires ideas and motivation to push the boundaries with everything we do. It’s an inclusive space for everyone that excites the senses, exactly what we have hoped for it.

It has been 3 amazing years at this location. We have homed 15 amazingly talented artists and trained & certified 100+ students!

New Location

Classic Shannon & Chaylene, we put 100% of our efforts into a beautiful space and spent 3 amazing years here! The lease was up and it was time to move on.
Can’t wait to show you our new spot….
